EINDHOVEN – The council subsidy given to the Van Abbe museum in Eindhoven can be reduced by 6 thousand Euros in the coming years. Both the management of the museum and the experts that evaluated the way the museum was being run (on behalf of the county council) think that it should be possible. With this in mind, a mandate to save at least that amount will be given to the museum.

EINDHOVEN – A 27-year-old man from Eindhoven was arrested for human trafficking in a Rotterdam jail. The man is serving an earlier sentence for, you guessed it, human trafficking. After a weekend leave in 2010 the man did not return to prison and managed to stay out the police’s hands for a year. During that time the trafficker went back to his old ‘job’.

EINDHOVEN – The illegal trade in weed (marijuana) and hash has increased sharply in different parts of Eindhoven since the introduction of the weed passport according to Rob van Gijzel, the mayor of Eindhoven. However, it is too early to determine whether the policy decision was erroneous.

This would be a solution to tackle the outstanding housing problems.  An agreement will soon be signed.
